Oldage home or our future bitter shelter.

The title reflects itself very well and I hope it is self explainatory, but going through little deeper it will bring out the bitter truth of so called Developed Human Society loves to hide.

As a human being our preference has always been a shelter to wilderness, home to habitate, and civilization to anomaly. We have developed skills, obtained knowledge, streamlined our potentials. But where does go those highly venerated piece of knowledge we have been furnished yet, when it comes  of regarding our parents when they need that the most.

Most of the time I happened to have started my journey through train, at the end of the destiny I find an old woman with her messy bundle of goods packed in a cloth piece. When the workers of the train asked her to get off the train she utttered a well known station name and was sitting on the same train too, but.....that was a down train and she had to board on the up one.
Alas!! Where is humanity?? Asking further she uttered that she was with her daughter-in-law too who seated her with some useful but meagre stuffs and backed off.  The train was very punctual to start its regular journey and like always it was carrying countless unknown, untold tragic stories with it hidden behind its own rumble.

In some cases when the only loving son is died there is a few to nurse the old soul, but in most cases the loving son is the villain. Parents are the third party in their rejoiced life and hence they develope a sense of acknowledging them extra luggage. Tell me who is the third party? Parents or such rowdy children?

As per the rule of the nature , the successors always seem to have dominated their predecessors. But nature never allows their ancestors to be insulted. They are the fundamentals.

According to Wikipedia One of the theories is the 'Disengagement Theory' proposed in 1961. This theory proposes that in old age a mutual disengagement between people and their society occurs in anticipation of death. By becoming disengaged from work and family responsibilities, according to this concept, people are enabled to enjoy their old age without stress. This theory has been subjected to the criticism that old age disengagement is neither natural, inevitable, nor beneficial. Furthermore, disengaging from social ties in old age is not across the board: unsatisfactory ties are dropped and satisfying ones kept.
According to the 'Continuity Theory', in spite of the inevitable differences imposed by their old age, most people try to maintain continuity in personhood, activities, and relationships.
'Socioemotional Selectivity Theory' also depicts how people maintain continuity in old age. The focus of this theory is continuity sustained by social networks, albeit networks narrowed by choice and by circumstances. The choice is for more harmonious relationships. The circumstances are loss of relationships by death and distance.

No development can be carried out on the debrish of old seasoned experiences. To respect our slender old parents is the need of the hour because this is among one of the legendaries we would be passing on to our off spring. The sooner we realize our mistakes, the farther we will carry on in our future.

Something All The Lovers Should Know.

EDU HELPER:

Most authorities agree that St, Valentine is "the lover's saint".

However, some writers are inclined to believe that no such person existed, though there appears to be proof that he a Christian Bishop and that he suffered martyrdom under the Roman Emperor Claudius on February 14.
The story is that Emperor Claudius issued a decree forbidding marriage. Married men disliked leaving their families to go to war, and they did not make good soldiers, according to the Emperor's notion. Since good soldiers were needed, he decided that marriage had to be abolished.
The good priest Valentine heard this and was sad. He invited young lovers to come to him and secretly got them married. The emperor learnt of this and had Valentine put in prison. There the "friend of lovers" languished and died martyr to love. The Church made him a Saint and allotted the day of his death, February 14, to him. So it is not surprising that youngsters in Rome made this day a spec…
